Patrick Alan Hunt age 63 of Orland, Indiana and a former longtime Sturgis resident passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 27, 2015 at his home.
He was born January 8, 1952 in Greenville, Ohio son of the late Patrick H. and R. Lenore (Lephart) Hunt.
Pat resided most of his life in Sturgis and was a graduate of Sturgis High School with the class of 1970.
In January of 2005 he married Deborah Jean Guinther in Sturgis. She died March 1, 2015.
Pat was employed for many years by Rehau, Inc. in Sturgis and held the position of CEO of Pat Hunt, Inc. also in Sturgis.
Pat loved music and was a talented drummer playing in many bands throughout the years, including Moses and Street Legal. He also loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by two daughters: Cassandra Lee Hambright of Brunswick, Georgia and Jocelyn Hunt of Sturgis; step-children: Jason Walters, Miles Davis, Aja Davis and Erik Davis and 12 grandchildren.
In accordance with family wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends to celebrate and remember the life of Patrick Hunt will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Saturday at the Hackman Chapel of Hackman Family Funeral Homes, 114 S. Nottawa Sturgis, MI 49091, 269-651-2331.
